Looking for a honest ZoomBucks Review? Or are you simply wondering if ZoomBucks is a scam, like most of the countless paid survey programs out there? Straight off the bat, paid survey programs do exists and can make you SOME money. They are far from the cash machines a lot of these programs make them out to be, because the fact of the matter is filling out a single survey doesn’t result in a massive return for those paying for it. There is no money to move on to you as the person doing the work, hence the pay is generally fairly low.
I have reviewed countless programs like this, which all turned out to be scams that purely have “dashboard money” which we will go through later in the review. These programs included; BonusJunkies, Flash Rewards, Viral Dollars and Viral Pay. Countless scammers try to take advantages of these seemingly easy way to make money online, but most end up being get rich quick schemes that just don’t work. Will ZoomBucks break the mould and turn out to be a legit program? Lets take a look!
But First A Little About Me…
In early 2019 I started Affiliated Success after months of countless scams, and wasted time in my own journey to find the best way to make money online. It wasn’t until I had a chance encounter with the creator of my number 1 recommendation that I started to gain traction and created a profitable online business.
From then I decided I want to share what I had learnt, and also uncover all the future scams in the industry so you did not have to go through what I had to. The fact of the matter is, making money online is not that hard. It just requires commitment and dedicated work. If you fail to understand building a successful online business requires consistent work and commitment you will continue to fail – no matter what program or system you use.

ZoomBucks Review
In this ZoomBucks review we will take an in depth look at the program. Review any red flags that may pop up, and ultimately discover if it is in fact a scam or a legit program that can make you money online.

- ZoomBucks The Verdict – Scam or Legit?
ZoomBucks is a new “paid for actions” site whereby you get monetary incentives to complete tasks, watch videos and complete surveys. A lot of scam programs in this niche offer upwards of $30 per task which immediately raises alarm bells. ZoomBucks pays $1 per 1000 points you earn, which is moving in the right direction of a legitimate program – but how quickly do you earn to 1000 points. Before we find out, lets take a closer look at who is behind the program!
ZoomBucks Creators Michael Nyby And Vikas Tailor
ZoomBucks was created back in 2010 by two men named Michael Nyby and Vikas Tailor. Anyone who has read any of my reviews would know immediately having visible, verifiable owners is a big plus in a legitimate program. Scammers always hide themselves or created made up creators in an attempt to seem legitimate.
In terms of their online presence, social media profiles, linked in profiles etc I struggled to find anything of theirs to make a definitive call on whether they actually exist. The site itself now operates under the banner of The Marketing Group, which has been linked to two similar sites that I know of, GrabPoints and EarnThatBuck. Sites like this that are linked to multiple spin offs is generally a red flag for me. It doesn’t necessarily mean its a scam, but it begs the question why do they need multiple iterations of the same thing? You can check out their reviews below:
The WhoIs record of the domain doesn’t give us much to go by either, rather just confirming the domain was registered in 2010. However the Registrant is redacted, which isn’t uncommon. In fact most sites now offer this as standard when you register a new domain, and most would just leave the default selection checked. So lets dive in a little deeper and see what its all about!
What Is ZoomBucks About?
ZoomBucks is a paid survey site that also incorporates offers and video watching tasks like many other programs in this niche. There have been so mixed reviews to date on whether the program is worth it. In essence you complete surverys, offers, watch videos and are rewards with points. Once you have completed enough point earning tasks you can redeem the points for money.
When looking at any program I like to “follow the money”. So what we have here is a program that pays you to complete tasks and surverys. In term they are paid by someone for your efforts. For a program like this to work, they need to earn more than they give out. So with scams such as Viral Dollars and Viral Pay, the money just didn’t add up. Paying members $30 just to watch video would mean somehow the business model would need to be making $60 for your action of watching that video. And I can tell you, no one would pay $60 for someone to watch a video. The economics just don’t add up.
At a glance the economics of ZoomBucks seems viable. 1000 points is worth $1, so 1 point is equivalent to $0.001. Completing a survey, or watching a video doesn’t earn you 300,000 points, in fact watching some videos earn you just 7 points or $0.007. So based off that the business model here can survive, and is in line with the general industry standard rates for such actions. So with that in mind, how exactly does it work, and how much money can you earn? Will you ever get paid at all?
How Does It Work?
There are three main ways you can make money with ZoomBucks;
- Completing surveys
- Doing various tasks or offers
- Watching videos
This forms part of a concept called market research. Market research is conducted by organisations and brands to gather targeted information about customers or potential customers. It can also be used when considering the development of new products or creating entirely new niches. With the knowledge organisations and brands can position their products more effectively and increase their conversion rates with more sales.
When you log into the members area you are shown a wall of offers, with a tab for videos, surverys and offers. Your revenue wall tells you how much you have earnt to date and an inbox where ZoomBucks will send you various offers as they come up.
Completing Surveys
This is fairly self explanatory, ZoomBucks offers multiple opportunities to complete surveys ranging from medical research surveys to brand and marketing surveys. There are two ways you can access the surveys and make money.
- Survey Wall – The survey wall is an embedded survey feature that you can see on your homepage. When you click on the survey’s it simply opens then up in the same browser without taking you away to a new site. The great thing about the wall is it uses your ZoomBucks profile for the relevant information needed for the survey, so you do not need to fill out a profile with your survey.
- Survey Routers – With this method you are redirected to third party pages instead of completing the surveys within the ZoomBucks members area. You will often need to fill out your name and various information, and may need to sign into the third party sites. Some of the surveys will let you know how many points you will earn before clicking through, others will only reveal the amount once you are on the third party site.
Watching Videos
With the video offers you simply need to select the videos that interest you, and watch them from start to finish. There are some offers in this group that require you to watch the video multiple times. I believe the views are giving the company revenue through advertising and views.
There are two different types of revenue that can be earnt from Videos
- CPM (Cost Per Impression) – This is simply payments from people viewing an advertisement, video, or slideshow. The M derives from thousand, and refers to the cost per thousand impressions.
- PPC (Pay Per Click) – Pay per click differs from CPM as someone simply viewing the ad generates not revenue at all. PPC requires the person viewing the advertisement to physically click on it, going through to the offer intended for the ad.
The offers that require you to watch the same video multiple times may increase the videos views, but not necessarily increase revenue as ad servers often have systems in place to avoid “hacking” using techniques like refreshing pages or replaying the video time and time again.
Completing Task
The final way you can earn points and ultimately make money with ZoomBucks is by completing various incentivised tasks. These tasks and offers can loosely be grouped into 5 main types:
- Paid Trial Offers – With the paid trial offers you are given points for signing up and paying for a service. So obviously the only value in this is if you actually wanted the service to begin with. As the incentive is not greater than the amount you need to paid. Once the trial offer ends you then roll into the monthly subscription period, so need to be sure to cancel on time.
- Non-Paid Trial Offers – Non-paid trial offers are the same as the paid trial offers except the services are free for the trial period. And example of a free trial is ClickFunnels 14 Day Trial. They often require you to still enter your credit card details and sign up to a monthly subscription model. You can then cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged.
- Visiting Websites – These offers invite you to visit various websites for a period of time, navigate around and interact in specific ways as defined by the offer. Once you complete the appropriate steps you get credited with your points.
- Downloading & Trying Apps – Self explanatory you simply download the appropriate app and test it out. With these offers its not enough to simply download, then delete the app. You need to “use it” for a certain period of time.
- Cashback Offers – Just liked the paid trial offers the only value in the cashback offers is if you actually wanted the product in the first place. ZoomBucks have teamed up with various companies offering cashback incentives on certain purchases.
Can ZoomBucks Really Make You Money?
To be eligible to make money with ZoomBucks you simply need to create your profile, which has 5 basic questions:
- Your Name
- Email Address
- Age
- Occupation
- Income Bracket
Most of these questions help form your demographic profile, and are fed into the surveys you complete on your survey wall. You also must be older than 13 years old. Once you complete all the information, input your password you can immediately start.
So can you make money, and if so how much? Well as I suggested earlier 1 point is worth $0.001, which means you need 1000 points to earn $1. You must earn a minimum of 5000 points before you can “cash out”. The survey rewards vary from as little as 400 points or $0.40 and 4000 points or $4.00. Watching videos are far lower, with most offering about 7 points, so you would need to watch close to 142 videos to make just $1.
ZoomBucks has a leader board, where you can view how much the Top earners has made. Below is a screenshot of the leader board as it stands as of August 2020. As you can see the top earner was able to generate $478 in a month, with the 20th user on the leader board earning $157. So if you were as diligent as the top users perhaps you could earn and extra $6000 a year. Some nice spending money, but not enough to quit your day job, plus you need to invest a lot of time to generate that.
According to the ZoomBucks support forums, top earners can earn between 10,000 to 20,000 points a day.
How Do You Redeem Your Earnings?
There are various ways to cash out and convert your points into money. As I mentioned earlier you need a minimum of 5000 points, or $5 to cash out. You can cash out your $5 via paypal tranfer or convert them into various gift cards including;
- iTunes
- Amazon
- Steam
- Wal-Mart
- Google PLay
- Lowes
There is also an option for getting paid via bitcoin. I was unable to find what price they use when you convert, so they could be skimming a bit off they top by overvaluing Bitcoin. So this is something I would make sure to be careful of. Make sure to check leading cryptocurrency markets such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken or Bithumb, for the bitcoin spot price before cashing out to verify whether it is worth it.
In order to withdraw using bitcoin you must have a minimum of 1,010,000 points, or a little over $1000. Going by ZoomBucks own estimates as a top earner it would take 100 to 50 days to generate this many points. Provided you were putting in daily work.
Once you have submitted your request to cash out using the various methods it generally takes between 24-72 hours to receive your payment or giftcard.
ZoomBucks Red Flags
The good thing here is there are none of the usual red flags I generally see in programs like this. The incentives for watching videos, completing tasks and surveys are in line with what you would expect and are not massively over inflated.
Their is not a fictitious founder shielding the true identity of the creators. Whilst I could not find the social profiles of the two who started the program in 2010, I do not believe this is due to a focused effort to hide them.
According the Trustpilot, one of the leading online review sites, ZoomBucks has an average rating of 4.2 out of 46 reviews. Whilst the volume is low, one would expected a lot of negative 1 star reviews if it was in fact scamming people. Looking at the negative 1 stars are generally related to people from geolocked countries unable to create an account, or various technical issues. Of those that are related to not paying out, ZoomBucks has always responded, and the reasons as to why payment was withheld seem to be legitimate and believable.
ZoomBucks The Verdict! Scam or Legit?
ZoomBucks is a legitimate program, and from my observations is definitely not a scam. Most reviews from other users are generally favourable. Those that are not seem to have legitimate reasons as to why payment was withheld and ZoomBucks support have responded to all the negative reviews.
ZoomBucks support are active, and it does not appear this is a “dashboard money” program. This is what other scams in this niche often do. They allow users to generate large amounts of points that could be redeemed for $100s, but then deny the user from actually redeeming the cash due to security concerns or fraudulent activity red flags.
My recommendation for ZoomBucks is use it if you want. You won’t make massive amounts of money, an you will not be quitting your day job. But if you want to make the effort you can make a small amount of pocket change. This is a legitimate way to make money online, albeit a very small amount of money. If you want to make enough to quit your day job, or at the very least to make a difference in your daily life you need to use different methods. My number 1 recommendation is for people who a genuinely committed to putting in work to make money online. If you are serious and interested, read on!
How I Make Money Online…
I have tried so many programs and systems I have lost count. The ones that were not scams all have their strengths and weaknesses but the one that resonated the most with me, and has made me the most money, was developed by one of the 16 super affiliates, Jacob Caris.
Jacob has developed a simple 3 step system for building a super affiliate business – you could say his resume definitely shows he is cut out for the job! It is aptly named Super Affiliate Accelerator. The great thing about his system is it does not require any tech skills, and can be used from anyone to a complete beginner to a seasoned veteran.
In fact it has recently been so successful I have started to see other programs scrambled and doing damage control as students are leaving to come to Super Affiliate Accelerator.
If you are serious about building a profitable online business, and growing to become a super affiliate this program is for you. Jacob does not accept everyone however. You must be willing to put in work, and be committed to succeeding – otherwise he will turn you away. Sound like you? Click the link below to get started.
