Lucky Day App Review
Modern day lotteries have one of the highest odds of losing within the gaming industry. Probabilities range from 1 in 8,145,060 for a 6 draw 45 number lottery, to 1 in 292,201,338 for a 6 draw 69 number Powerball.
According to Union Gaming Research, the global lottery industry grew approximately 60% between 2004 and 2016, to $295 billion. It is estimated in the next 3 years the lottery industry will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 9% bring global revenues to nearly $400 billion.
A key driver of this projected growth is the uptake of mobile devices and applications offering players an easy route of entry. In 2016 an estimated $43 billion of the $295 billion revenue in the industry came from mobile device sales and this is expected to sharply increase as users move away from conventional purchasing methods.
Overall lotteries only account for 9% of the global gambling industry with casinos & online betting taking over 76% of the market. This is due in part to a lack of innovation and regulations leading to concerns over fairness, prize allocation and availability. With the top 10 lotteries in the world accounting for 78% of the global revenue, the industry is monopolised disadvantaging players options.
To put this all into perspective, you have more chance of being struck by a meteorite, 1 in 1,600,000 that of winning a modern day lottery.
Lucky Day App is a free mobile app available for iOS and Android, which provides players the opportunity to participate in Lottos, raffles and play scratcher cards. All offer a real chance of winning actual cash and prizes. So is it legit? Lets take a look at who is behind the program?
Who Is Behind The Lucky Day App?
Javaheri was educated at the University of Southern California where at the age of 20 he created and launched the Lucky Day App. According to a forbes article, A 20-Year-Old Undergrad At USC Is Revolutionizing Advertising On Mobile Games the app was funded by a pre-seed round of $500,000.
What this tells me is smart sophisticated investors, and potentially institutions believed in Joshua enough to give him half a million dollars. Joshua has a visible twitter page and a developed linkedin page with a decent history. Joshua started the business after developing a early fascination with arcade experiences. He wanted to be able to offer the experience to the consumer for free, without the risk of having to put up their own money.
Lucky Day App has a visible and authentic owner, and is backed by real investor money, which is a great start to this review. So what exactly is the Lucky Day App.
What Is The Lucky Day App?
According to a recent LA Business Journal 20 on Their 20’s article it was revealed that Lucky Day Entertainment Inc has raised close to $5million to date since its inception in 2014.
As discussed earlier $500,000 of this came from pre-seed funding with a second round targeting $2,500,000. The company now has 30 employees running out of a location in Beverley Hills, California. In the first 6 months of launching their first games in the app, Lucky Day was able to garner over half a million users, with 25% playing daily.
Lucky Day App is currently supported via advertising through multiple major consumer brands, and other mobile companies. Whilst the long term is to become a fully self funding and profitable app, Javaheri hasn’t ruled out seeking further funding through further capital rounds if required.
As with many gambling companies and apps, social responsibility is at the core of the companies operations, with a commitment to give back to the local community. Caps have been placed on game time per session to help combat addiction. The company is currently focused on the Los Angeles market, due to the large ecosystem of tech companies and strong talent pools for recruitment opportunities. So how does it all work?

How Does Lucky Day Work?
The Luck Day App is available on iOS or the Androids Google Play store, so the obvious first step is to download the app, or download it directly from the website. Account creation as with all apps is simple – you can either use your email or just link up with your facebook account. As it is a gambling app, it does have a 17+age limit, however the app doesn’t do anything to verify your age.
Lucky Day offers a few different playable options, these different games include;
- Lotto & Raffles
- Blackjack
- Scratcher Cards
The name however is slightly confusing, with the iOS app being called “Blackjack Royale” or Lucky Day Blackjack and the Android Google Play app called Lucky Night.
What is interesting is the iOS version Luck Day Blackjack Royale only has the blackjack gaming options, whereas the Lucky Night Google Play App gives access to the Lottos, Raffles and Scratcher Cards. What is interesting, is there is no cross over, I am unsure why they would not provide both options on both apps.
Lucky Day App – Lucky Night Lottos
The lotto game is based on a real life lottery, and is played in the same manner as the common real life counterparts. You receive six numbers per entry into the draw. This is then drawn every day at 7 p.m PST every day.
If you match 1-3 numbers you receive tokens, and if you match 4-6 numbers you receive cash.
The raffle is a daily incentive to get you to continually use the game, like most apps, you recveive a free raffle entry into the daily raffle, along with the monthly raffle. You can also purchase entries into the raffles if you wish, up to 1,000 entries per account. Once the raffle is drawn you are notified through the app if you are a winner.
Finally the Scratcher feature of the app works as you would expect, you get your “card” and scratch to win. You get a new card given to you at 12am, 10am, and 6pm PST. If you do not scratch the card on the day you receive it, you lose it.
Lucky Day App – Blackjack Royal
Blackjack Royale is marketed as a blackjack app that teaches you to play, with in game tips ad strategies to help guide you through games to become a better player.
Each day you receive free chips and tokens to participate in free games. The app is not just simply blackjack, but is also “gamified”. Each day you are given a unique challenge you must complete to win mystery bonuses, such as “Win three insurance bets” or “Play 25 Blackjack Games”.
There are also 4 different leaderboards that ranks you against other players. Each leaderboard expires every 24hours and offers unique rewards for those who top the games.

Can You Win Real Cash With The Lucky Day App?
Both iOS and Android versions are marketed as apps that require “No purchases or payments of any kind”. Which is obviously a common trait of virtually all games in mobile app stores, that always comes with a catch. You can guarantee those that top the leader-boards are spending real money to play extra games to take the top spot.
The other drawback, which is virtually across every free app on mobiles is advertising, which unfortunately can get fairly annoying. But it is a reality of free apps, and how they make their money, so perhaps it can be forgiven if you can really make money for FREE on this app.
The good news is, its not a marketing ploy or a scam, you can actually make real cold hard cash with this app without spending your own money. But that’s the trick isn’t it? Give you a little teaser, win $5 or $10 on a free hand, and you may quickly find yourself wanting to pile in more dollars as the greed takes over. So be careful!
So with the various games and challenges across the apps you can win cash or tokens which can be redeemed. The payment method is through PayPal and you must have a balance of at least $10.00 to be able to cash out. Tokens can we redeemed for various physical prizes or gift cards.
What I like about this app is it is very clear to see where the money is coming from. One would normally think, how can a free app, give real money and prizes? Well with this app its two fold
- There are in app purchases and paid offers, which is one revenue stream for the app.
- Obviously advertising. Advertising can be fairly lucrative especially if you are getting millions of players a day on the app, and serving them up ads every couple of minutes.
- Finally a lot of the prizes may be promotional or partnership programs, so they would be getting them heavily discounted, or for no money at all.
What Do The Reviews Say?
The reviews for Lucky Day App are fairly positive, with a 4.6 out of 5 on the iOS app, and a 4.3 star rating on Androids Google Play, with over 20,000 reviews. Lucky Day Apps development team is highly interactive with reviewers responding to almost all reviews which shows an incredibly committed team.
The major complaint of the app is, as with all free mobile apps, the advertisements. Almost all of the negative review mention how frustrating the ads can be. Any mobile game player will be well versed in the freebie advertisement walls you often are subjected to.
Unfortunately the other concern of players is the time it takes to reach the $10 payout. Now this needs to be tapered with the reality that these reviews are coming from people who are not spending any money. So they are complaining about not being able to make…free money for nothing, quick enough. To give you an indication it seems it will take you a couple of weeks or months just to make $10 using just the free games and tokens available (not factoring in any raffle or lotto wins).
The other potential issue is the prizes and gift cards variability. The game creators can essentially value these at whatever they feel like, and change what your tokens are worth at any stage. Just like credit card rewards programs you have to rack up a LOT of tokens to get a prize.
And even if you get enough tokens for your desired prize, many users expressed frustration with the gift cards or prizes frequently being sold out. SO whats the verdict? Is it a scam? Or is Lucky Day App a legit money making app.
Lucky Day App The Verdict – Scam Or Legit?
I think its pretty obvious from the outset this isn’t a “money making app” and if I were to review it with this filter it would fall short. It’s important to view the Lucky Day App for what it is – a free gambling app GAME. The purpose of this game is to make money through advertising, and whether they admit it or not, help your channel your inner gambling addict to get your to spend your money.
But don’t confuse that as a unique approach to just this gambling app – every game and app on mobile devices want you addicted, and to keep you on longer spending more money. So with that in mind, it is a legit app, it’s not a scam. BUT it is not a money maker, and to be honest will probably frustrate you with all the ads.
It is NOT a money making opportunity, and more than likely will make you lose money, or at best earn you $10, $20 or maybe $30 if you are lucky. The Lucky Day App is a modest gaming app, definitely not the best out there, but the developers have done a great job at connecting with the community. They are engaged and activity speak with those reviewing the product, so the app I believe will only continue to develop and improve.
But this is not a way to make money online, its not a secret side hustle. Don’t get caught up in the exciting idea of becoming a blackjack shark and making $10,000 in online gambling. There are far better ways to make money online and spend your time on more creative business pursuits.
One Last Thing Before You Go…
You may have came to this page simply to learn about the Lucky Day App. Or perhaps you did come here hoping you could make some quick cash online with it. I have tried so many programs and systems I have lost count. The ones that were not scams all have their strengths and weaknesses but the one that resonated the most with me, and has made me the most money, was developed by one of the 16 super affiliates, in the ClickFunnels Affiliate Bootcamp Summit, Jacob Caris.
Jacob has developed a simple 3 step system for building a super affiliate business – you could say his resume definitely shows he is cut out for the job! It is aptly named Super Affiliate Accelerator. The great thing about his system is it does not require any tech skills, and can be used from anyone to a complete beginner to a seasoned veteran.
In fact it has recently been so successful I have started to see other programs scrambled and doing damage control as students are leaving to come to Super Affiliate Accelerator.
If you are serious about building a profitable online business, and growing to become a super affiliate this program is for you. Jacob does not accept everyone however. You must be willing to put in work, and be committed to succeeding – otherwise he will turn you away. Sound like you? Click the link below to get started.
